Types of Lasers

Laser marking is the process of transferring laser light through a lens and focusing it on the surface of the workpiece. In laser marking, either a portion of the surface material is removed, or the appearance and properties of the material are altered.

Fiber Laser

(wavelength 1064 nm)

Fast and efficient marking for all industrial environments, primarily intended for metallic materials. Laser power: 30, 50, 100, 200W. The variant with two marking heads (2H) allows simultaneous marking with two laser heads using one control unit.

Diode Laser

(wavelength 1064 nm)

Designed for marking metallic and conditionally plastic materials. It has the best beam quality (m²<1.2) and greater focal distance tolerance.

UV/One Laser

(wavelength 355 nm)

It has a compact design, where the laser and control unit are housed in one case. It is primarily intended for marking plastic and metal materials.

Increases the focal range of the laser. Depending on the selected lens, the tolerance range of the distance from the laser head to the marking surface increases to +/- 15mm to +/- 39mm.

Engraving Devices – PINSTAMP®

In PINSTAMP® engraving devices, a high-speed needle strikes the surface of the workpiece, leaving permanent marks. This technology permanently impresses letters, numbers, as well as logos, graphics, or two-dimensional codes onto the surface using a dot matrix. Depending on the mode of operation, pneumatic, electric, and battery-operated engraving devices are available. From a mounting perspective, both fixed (mounted on a stand or part of the machine) and handheld engraving devices are available.

In TeleScribe® engraving devices, the stylus does not strike but “pulls” across the surface of the workpiece (marking with continuous lines). TeleScribe® is the best choice when marking with a low noise level is required.
